Refund & Return Policy

At Renifix Technologies, we stand behind every repair we carry out — whether at our Karu workshop or at your location. This policy explains clearly what you are entitled to and how we handle refunds, returns, and disputes.
Section 01

Diagnosis & Quotation

We provide a free diagnosis on your first visit. After diagnosing your device, we give you a written quote before any repair work begins. You are under no obligation to proceed. If you choose not to go ahead with the repair after diagnosis, no charge is applied.

For subsequent visits or devices already assessed, a diagnosis fee of ₦5,000 – ₦8,000 applies and is non-refundable once the diagnosis has been completed, regardless of whether you proceed with the repair.

Section 02

Repair Warranty

All repairs carried out by Renifix Technologies come with a 7-day warranty on parts and labour from the date of collection or completion. If the same fault recurs within 7 days under normal use, we will re-examine and re-repair at no additional labour cost.

The warranty does not cover:

  • New physical damage, drops, or liquid exposure after collection
  • Faults unrelated to the original repair
  • Damage caused by unauthorised third-party repair attempts after our work
  • Pre-existing conditions on other components not covered in the original repair
Section 03

Parts & Components

Where parts are sourced and supplied by Renifix Technologies, they are included in your written receipt. Parts supplied by the customer are used at the customer's risk — we accept no liability for faults arising from customer-supplied components.

Parts that have been installed and used cannot be returned once fitted, as they are considered consumed in the repair process.

Section 04

Refund Eligibility

You are entitled to a full refund of labour charges if:

  • The repair was not carried out as described in the written quote
  • The same fault recurs within the 7-day warranty period and we are unable to resolve it on a second attempt
  • We caused additional damage to your device during the repair process

Refunds are not issued for:

  • Change of mind after a repair is completed
  • Diagnosis fees once the diagnosis has been performed
  • Repairs where the customer declined our recommended course of action and a partial fix was requested instead
  • Chip-level and motherboard repairs where the board has pre-existing wear or multi-fault damage — see Section 06
Section 05

Deposits

For repairs requiring parts to be sourced in advance, we require a 50% deposit before purchasing. This deposit is:

  • Refundable if we are unable to source the required part within a reasonable timeframe
  • Refundable if the repair cannot be completed due to a fault on our side
  • Non-refundable if the customer cancels after parts have already been purchased

Chip-Level & Motherboard Repairs

Advanced chip-level repairs carry inherent risk due to the nature of board-level work on aged or previously damaged hardware. Before proceeding with any chip-level repair, we require verbal or written confirmation (WhatsApp message is accepted) that the customer understands and accepts the following:

  • Pre-existing wear on components may cause secondary failures during or after repair, unrelated to our work
  • Renifix Technologies is not liable for pre-existing component failure unrelated to the specific repair performed
  • In the event a board cannot be repaired after a good-faith attempt, the diagnosis fee is retained and no further charge applies

On-Site & Mobile Service

For on-site visits where we travel to your home or office in Abuja:

  • A call-out or transport fee may apply depending on distance, agreed in advance
  • If you cancel or are unavailable when we arrive, the call-out fee is non-refundable
  • If a repair cannot be completed on-site and requires workshop tools, the device may need to be brought in — no additional call-out charge applies for the return visit

  • We strongly recommend customers back up their data before handing in any device
  • We are not responsible for data loss that occurs as a result of hardware failure during repair — we always advise on backup before work begins
  • Your files are never shared with third parties

Who We Share Your Information With

We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties. The only exceptions are:

  • Parts suppliers — only device model/brand information, never personal details
  • Legal obligation — if required by Nigerian law or a valid court order
Section 06

How Long We Keep Your Information

We retain customer records (name, contact, device, receipt) for up to 12 months for warranty and dispute purposes, after which they are deleted. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us.

Our Services

Renifix Technologies Limited provides computer and laptop repair services including but not limited to: chip-level and motherboard repairs, data recovery, screen replacement, OS installation, virus removal, RAM/SSD upgrades, BIOS programming, and liquid damage repair. Services are provided:

  • At our workshop on Nyanya-Karshi Road, Karu, Abuja, FCT
  • On-site at your home or office within Abuja and environs (by appointment)
Section 02

Bookings & Appointments

  • Bookings can be made via WhatsApp (090-1700-3469), phone call, email, or our website contact form
  • For on-site visits, appointments must be confirmed at least 2 hours in advance
  • We reserve the right to reschedule if unforeseen circumstances arise, with prompt notice to the customer
  • Customers who are unavailable or cancel without notice after a technician has been dispatched may be charged a call-out fee
Section 03

Device Intake

  • You must ensure you are the owner of the device or have authorisation from the owner before submitting for repair
  • We recommend backing up all data before handing in your device — we are not liable for data loss during repair
  • Devices not collected within 30 days of repair completion may be subject to a storage fee of ₦500/day
  • Devices abandoned for more than 90 days without communication may be disposed of to recover costs, after reasonable attempts to contact the owner

Pricing & Payment

  • All prices are quoted in Nigerian Naira (₦)
  • A written quote is provided before any repair work begins — no work starts without your approval
  • Payment is due on collection of the device or completion of on-site work
  • We accept cash and bank transfer
  • Deposits may be required for parts-dependent repairs — see our Refund Policy for details
  • Pricing varies by device model, brand, and fault complexity — "from" prices on our website are starting rates only
Section 05

Warranty

All repairs carry a 7-day warranty on parts and labour. Full details are in our Refund & Return Policy. This warranty is voided if the device is opened, tampered with, or taken to another technician after our repair.

Section 06

Limitation of Liability

  • Renifix Technologies is not liable for data loss, regardless of cause
  • Our liability in any dispute is limited to the amount paid for the specific repair in question
  • We are not responsible for consequential losses (loss of business, loss of earnings) arising from device failure or repair delays
  • For chip-level repairs, customers must acknowledge inherent risk before work proceeds — see Refund Policy Section 6
Section 07

On-Site Service Terms

  • On-site visits are available within Abuja FCT by appointment only
  • The customer must provide a safe, accessible, and adequately lit workspace
  • A call-out/transport fee may apply based on distance, agreed before the visit
  • If a repair requires workshop equipment not available on-site, the device may need to be brought in for completion
  • Renifix Technologies staff are not liable for any damage to the customer's premises during a visit, beyond reasonable care

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be resolved under Nigerian law in Abuja, FCT.
