We collect only what is necessary to provide our services:
- Contact details: Name, phone number, email address
- Device information: Brand, model, serial number (where needed), fault description
- Location information: For on-site/mobile visits, your address or meeting point within Abuja
- Payment information: Amount paid, payment method (we do not store card details)
- Communication records: WhatsApp messages, emails, or form submissions related to your repair

How We Use Your Information
Your information is used solely for:
- Diagnosing and repairing your device
- Contacting you about your repair status or booking
- Issuing receipts and processing payments
- Handling warranty claims or refund requests
- Scheduling on-site visits to your location
- Improving our services based on feedback
We do not use your information for marketing without your explicit consent.

Your Device & Data
We understand that your device may contain personal files, photos, documents, and sensitive information. Our commitment:
- We do not access, copy, or view personal files unless explicitly required for the repair (e.g. testing that the OS loads correctly)
- We strongly recommend customers back up their data before handing in any device
- We are not responsible for data loss that occurs as a result of hardware failure during repair — we always advise on backup before work begins
- Your files are never shared with third parties

Who We Share Your Information With
We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties. The only exceptions are:
- Parts suppliers — only device model/brand information, never personal details
- Legal obligation — if required by Nigerian law or a valid court order
Section 06
How Long We Keep Your Information
We retain customer records (name, contact, device, receipt) for up to 12 months for warranty and dispute purposes, after which they are deleted. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us.

Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Request a copy of the information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your information
- Withdraw consent for any communications

Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information — records are kept securely and access is limited to Renifix staff only. However, no method of transmission over WhatsApp or email is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
